How to reach our hotel in the center of Hamburg

Located in the heart of Hamburg, the SIDE Design Hotel is the ideal starting point for exciting shopping tours, a visit to the State Opera and the discovery of historical artistic and cultural monuments. Within walking distance you’ll find the Inner Alster, the Jungfernstieg, the exhibition and convention centre and the Dammtor railway station.

Many roads lead to Hamburg. Whether you arrive by plane, train or car, our hotel on the Binnenalster is easy to reach.
By car
Are you planning to travel to us by car? No problem. You can park nearby in the Gänsemarkt parking garage or use our valet service. The cost for both is €40 per night. Our valet service is available daily from 7:00 to 23:00.
By train
If you are traveling by train, we recommend that you travel to Hamburg Dammtor. From there it is an 8-minute walk or a 4-minute bus ride to Stephansplatz subway station. Alternatively, you can travel to the main station and from there either take the bus to U Stephansplatz or the subway to Gänsemarkt.
By plain
If you are coming to Hamburg by plane, our hotel is also very easy to reach. First take the S-Bahn to Ohlsdorf, change there to the U-Bahn and travel to Stephansplatz. From there it is about 400 meters to the hotel.
